I am Suzy Jeffers, an artist/photographer motivated to create objects and images that reflect my interest in the art of the ancients, the divine feminine, as well as the interaction between light and this beautiful earth. I hold a BFA and an MFA in photography and have spent the bulk of my career teaching photography and directing the Muroff Kotler Visual Arts Gallery at Ulster County Community College in Stone Ridge, NY.
Through my images, I seek to add to your home or studio environment a quality of beauty, color, mystery and a bit of magic. All of these images are straight photographs – created without any photoshop manipulation besides contrast, color and tone adjustments. The magic happens in the mind and in front of the camera.
This site has a number of categories I hope will appeal to you. Naturally, there is overlap between many of these categories, so don’t be surprised if you see an image in more than one place on the site!
All images are available in sizes ranging from postcard size to 30 x 40”, framed or un-framed. Images can be archivally printed on luster or Matte surfaces (my preference is matte).
